Run Arc Dream Games and Get Cool Stuff at Gen Con 2019

It is January 2019, and you know what that means: time to plan for Gen Con, August 1–4. Join us as a volunteer running Delta Green, Godlike, Monsters & Other Childish Things, Puppetland, our upcoming Swords & Sorceries adventures for Dungeons & Dragons (email rachelkivey@arcdream.com for Swords & Sorceries titles, descriptions, and early access to manuscripts!), or any of our games, and get fun awards!

GM Rewards

Each RPG session is scheduled for four hours (including a little time at the beginning to introduce everyone to each other and the game) and should be open to five or six players. The more games you run, the more rewards you get.

  • 1 game—swag! $20 in credit toward Arc Dream Publishing products at our Gen Con 2019 booth.
  • 2 games—better swag! As above, and choose one Delta Green collectible at the Arc Dream booth: shirt, patch, challenge coin, etc. (Or get another $20 in booth credit if you prefer.)
  • 3 games—free badge! As above, and get a free Gen Con badge! (Or get another $20 in booth credit if you prefer.)
  • 4 games—Club Apocalypse whisky glass! As above, and get a Club Apocalypse whisky glass (an Old Fashioned or “rocks” glass) that is being designed and made ONLY for Gen Con 2019 volunteers who run 4 or more RPG game sessions and booth staffers. (Or get another $20 in booth credit if you prefer.)

We must submit your Arc Dream games in Gen Con’s system for you to qualify for these rewards. If you submit Arc Dream-related games on your own, that’s great! But those won’t count toward these rewards.

Step 1: Sign Up at Gen Con

Before you send us your event details, set up your account with Gen Con and make sure you know their policies.

Step 2: Register Your Events With Arc Dream

Step 3: Get Your Free Badge

IMPORTANT: Housing registration begins well before the time for us to request GM badges. In order to reserve a hotel room on 27 JAN 2019, you must have a badge. If you are reserving a room, you must get a badge on your own, first.

  • Purchase a Gen Con badge and get your room.
  • Plan your events for Arc Dream Publishing and request a complimentary badge from us.
  • Gen Con will reimburse you the cost of the badge you paid for.

GETTING YOUR BADGE FROM US: If you need to pick up your GM badge from us at Gen Con, make arrangements to pick it up. It’s best to pick it up from one of our staff at Exhibitor HQ, outside the exhibit hall, at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 2nd. If you need to get the badge before 10:00 a.m. Thursday, please email your contact information to rachelkivey@arcdream.com. Our staff will reach Indianapolis late Wednesday, August 1st.

Step 4: Get Supplies From Us

Before each event, come to the Arc Dream Publishing booth in the exhibit hall. We will give you supplies and/or promotional materials to give players at your event, such as maps to the booth and coupons they can redeem there.

If your game is scheduled before the Exhibit Hall opens on Thursday, email rachelkivey@arcdream.com about it ahead of time. We’ll give you the supplies Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

Step 5: Run Your Games

  • Collect tickets from all  players.
  • Hand out pregenerated characters and other game materials.
  • Play the game!
  • Give the promotional materials to each player, particularly their booth coupons.
  • Make sure the players know how to find our booth.

Step 6: Turn In Your Tickets

After the game, bring the players’ tickets to our booth and collect your rewards!

Have Fun!

Gen Con gamers are amazing. Arc Dream Publishing is proud to be a Premier Event Group of many years’ standing. Whether you run games for us or sign up as a player, it is always a fantastic time. We can’t wait.
