The\u00a0Handler\u2019s Guide<\/i>\u00a0is going to press.<\/b>\u00a0All that\u2019s missing are the endpapers\u2014the inside cover designs\u2014which our graphic designer is striving to finish before the holidays are out. While he’s doing that, the printer will be preparing the rest of the book and its slipcase. It can be pre-ordered in\u00a0hardback<\/a>\u00a0or downloaded now in\u00a0PDF<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Works in Progress<\/h1>\n

Pelgrane Press expects to publish the final PDF of\u00a0The Fall of Delta Green<\/b><\/i>\u00a0by the end of December and to send it to press in January.<\/p>\n

Dennis Detwiller is editing\u00a0Control Group<\/b><\/i>\u00a0and getting its scenarios in the hands of playtesters; writing\u00a0Impossible Landscapes<\/b>;\u00a0<\/i>and illustrating various Delta Green projects in between. I expect\u2014knock on wood\u2014to publish\u00a0Control Group<\/i>\u00a0in PDF in the spring. The hardback will come a few months after the PDF.<\/p>\n

Chris Gunning, primary author of the “Federal Agencies” section of the\u00a0Agent\u2019s Handbook,\u00a0<\/i>is doing final revisions and additions for a ton of new agencies for the forthcoming\u00a0Redacted Files<\/b>.<\/i>\u00a0We expect to publish them in the spring.<\/p>\n

The PISCES team, led by Giles Hill and Adam Crossingham, are working on\u00a0PISCES<\/b>.<\/i><\/p>\n

I\u2019m working on\u00a0Deep State<\/b>;\u00a0<\/i>finalizing plans for\u00a0Operational History<\/b><\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Falling Towers<\/b>;\u00a0<\/i>preparing the ebook release of the microfiction collection\u00a0The Way It Went Down<\/b>;<\/i>\u00a0and preparing the new issue of\u00a0The Unspeakable Oath<\/b><\/i>\u00a0for layout as soon as its art comes in.<\/p>\n

I expect to send out\u00a0The Way It Went Down<\/i>\u00a0in January and the\u00a0Oath<\/i>\u00a0in February or March. We\u2019ll have reliable dates for\u00a0Operational History, Deep State, PISCES,\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0Falling Towers<\/i>once they\u2019re a little farther along.<\/p>\n

The latest of our monthly scenarios is\u00a0Delta Green: Viscid<\/b>.<\/i>\u00a0It ran into some technical problems on the production side but it ought to be available next week.<\/p>\n

A Night at the Opera<\/h1>\n

“Viscid” also appears in a hardback scenario collection that we\u2019re offering in response to fan requests. We did not anticipate printing these scenarios, let alone in a nice hardback, so it\u2019s not part of the Kickstarter rewards. But even with the new scenarios available in paperback, some fans asked for a hardback too. If you would like a full-color hardback that collects scenarios like “Viscid,” “Reverberations,” “Music From a Darkened Room,” and others, you can pre-order\u00a0Delta Green: A Night at the Opera<\/a><\/i>\u00a0now.<\/p>\n

(Warning: Its international shipping costs, set by our warehouse and the U.S. Postal Service, are very high. If you\u2019re outside the U.S., we would not blame you for waiting until it has been printed and shipped to international distributors.)<\/p>\n

Patreon<\/h1>\n

Dennis Detwiller maintains a popular\u00a0Delta Green Patreon\u00a0<\/a>site for previews, prizes, microfiction, audio recordings of Delta Green games, and other odds and ends. Recent Patreon releases included playtest files (\u201cEx Oblivione,\u201d \u201cNight Visions,\u201d \u201cBlacksat\u201d), microfiction (\u201cThe Cemetery Papers,\u201d \u201cAwake Again,\u201d \u201cBetween Here and Forever\u201d), and audio of my run of\u00a0Future\/Perfect<\/i>\u00a0Part 2 for friends here in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

As I\u2019m sure you know, Patreon garnered a huge amount of trouble over the last couple of weeks with a proposed change to their fees, but they canceled that change and things have gone back to normal. Nevertheless, we\u2019re setting up a mirrored program on Drip, Kickstarter\u2019s version of Patreon, for those who want to switch. We\u2019ll send a link to that when it goes live.<\/p>\n

Gen Con 2018<\/h1>\n

Gen Con 2017 was barely four months ago, but it\u2019s already time to start planning for\u00a0Gen Con 2018<\/a>. Event submission begins 7 JAN 2018. We want to see Delta Green games in the program! We\u2019ll announce more details in a couple of weeks — special rewards for volunteers — so start thinking about it now.<\/p>\n
