Viktor Eikman recently told the Cult of ORE<\/a> group about his long-running game of\u00a0The Kerberos Club<\/a>,<\/em> the\u00a0Wild Talents<\/em><\/a> setting of Victorian superhero action and intrigue by Benjamin Baugh:<\/p>\n

Any Kerberos fans out there might be interested to know that eight\u00a0players and I have completed a 58-session “grand campaign” in the\u00a0world of the Kerberos Club, stretching from 1798 to 1874 at a fairly\u00a0even pace.<\/p>\n

I used a number of Baugh’s plot seeds to write everything, but dialled\u00a0down the Red and brought in a lot of alternate history thinking, based\u00a0loosely on The Difference Engine<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

I devised some house rules for long-term character development,\u00a0including a version of the sanity system from Nemesis<\/em><\/a> (or Unknown\u00a0Armies<\/a>).<\/em> Those rules are in English, here.<\/a>\u00a0There’s a character sheet<\/a> to go with them.<\/p>\n

I made a massive amount of other write-ups, some 120,000 words in\u00a0total describing the development of the world and the various\u00a0adventure plots. That information is in Swedish, but if you want it,\u00a0it’s also up on the web<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The whole campaign took me a little over three years, and was of\u00a0course great fun.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
