You point the Inviso-Gun at someone (or something up to the size of a Lincoln Navigator sport-ute), pull the trigger, and it turns invisible.\u00a0 But this is not, alas, as fully functional an invisibility as the Aspect from page 86 in Better Angels<\/i><\/a>.\u00a0 Demons who can turn invisible know what they\u2019re doing and have a sense of where their bodies are when blanked out.\u00a0 Normal people tend to be a bit klutzy when they can\u2019t visually place their bodies in relation to the landscape.<\/p>\n

People hit with the Inviso-Gun get +3 surprise Advantage on all actions where being unseen is helpful, until people know they\u2019re there, at which point it drops to +1.\u00a0 However, any action that requires them to move with haste or precision faces Difficulty 3, even if they get Advantage on it.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Inviso-Gun is fired using a pool made up of Sly<\/b> Cowardice<\/i>. Shots from the Inviso-Gun last a number of rounds equal to the Width of the roll.<\/b><\/p>\n

You know what this doodad is really<\/i> good for, though?\u00a0 Car chases.\u00a0 How often do cops hear the phrase \u201cI just didn\u2019t see him!\u201d when assembling traffic-crash witness statements?\u00a0 Real often<\/i>.\u00a0 If you invisiblize someone\u2019s car during a high-speed chase, that person has to make a Sly<\/b> Endurance<\/i> roll every round to avoid crashing.\u00a0 This roll is at Difficulty 3, remember.\u00a0 That could be higher if the person needs corrective lenses, which have no effect when they\u2019re invisible too.\u00a0 (Really, invisible people should<\/i> be blind.\u00a0 It\u2019s a mystery why they aren\u2019t.)\u00a0 If the roll fails, the GM can slide a point off a Tactic or even erase a dot altogether to represent the crash trauma.<\/b><\/p>\n
