I’ll speak mainly on crowdfunding and Kickstarter, the opportunities they offer creative professionals and the pitfalls of handling a crowdfunding effort poorly. My focus and examples will be from my years as an RPG, fiction, and magazine publisher, but these are lessons that creators in any medium can apply. Montevallo has a strong focus on the arts and I have a lot of friends who are alumni, so I hope my presentation is useful and interesting. I’m looking forward to it.
