Capacitor Robust, Useful Outside of Combat | Cost per Die: | | Normal Die | 3 | | Hard Die | 6 | | Wiggle Die | 12 |
| Description: | Capacitor Table:
Recharge Rate Base Cost
Slow (1 per hour) +3/+6/+12
Quick (1 per minute) +4/+8/+16
Fast (1 per round) +5/+10/+20
You have a pool of dice which can be "burned" to add to the dice pools of powers (or stats) attached to Capacitor. Such burned dice boost the power for 1 round in combat or 1 minute outside of combat. Once burned, dice return at a rate determined by the base cost of the Capacitor.
Hard or Wiggle dice can be purchased normally, and burned normally.
Recharging your Power pool requires exposure to a fairly rare energy source or high-energy condition. Examples: High voltage electricity, Extreme heat or flames, High Pressures, Radioactive isotopes, and so forth.
Dice Burned from Capacitor return in reverse order of power- normal dice first, then hard, then wiggle. For all intents and purposes, Capacitor dice act normally when boosting another power, but any power so juiced can not yield a Will bonus for exceptional success, though a
power Attached to Capacitor could still yield Will if used un-boosted.
Note that to use Capacitor, other Powers or stats must be specifically Attached to it. While Capacitor need not have all the qualities of the powers attached to it, there is one significant drawback: any power dependent on Capacitor automatically fails when the power pool hits zero.

You recharge from a commonly available energy source, such as sunlight or wind.
Efficient +2/+4/+8
Your Capacitor pool recharges at twice normal for your Recharge Rate, at 2 Will points per applicable time period. | | Flaws: | Tapped Out -1/-2/-4
When your Capacitor pool drops to zero dice, you suffer a -1d fatigue penalty to all actions until
recharged. This Flaw can be taken multiple times, to reflect how dependent the character is on their specific energy source that Capacitor uses. | | Power Stunts: | Overload
When you roll your Overload dice and score a successful match (height necessary determined by GM based on how stressful the circumstances are), you can force your recharge rate up one step on the Recharge Rate table. This can be dangerous... for if you roll under the difficulty needed, you not only not recharge, but you also take 1 shock damage to your head for each die rolled for pushing yourself too hard. |
